tourmaline | PLAINS of  STONE

The most ancient, one could say first, color is in reality without color at all. Absorbing all visible colors in the spectrum, the 'color' black traditionally represents royalty and formality. True to the nature of its "absorbent" color, black tourmaline absorbs negativity, often lending its inherent natural field to absorb hostile energy from one's environment. As the magnetic poles and rotation of the earth protect each of us from the baking solar radiation, black tourmaline literally creates a magnetic field shielding its possessor by absorbing negative 'radiations.'
